Tripadvisor
The vineyards are where everything begins – the birthplace of our wines. Overlooking the Douro River and tended to all year round, you can get a closer look by choosing one of our Vineyard Walks.
Visit us at the right time (typically September to early October) and you’ll experience the hustle and bustle of a grape harvest first-hand. All grapes are handpicked before being received at our onsite winery.
Visits include a trip to see our specially-developed, modern lagares. Designed in-house to mimic foot-treading, these are instrumental in our ability to consistently produce outstanding wines.
Built in 1896, the old Bomfim lodge is one of the most remarkable buildings in the Douro region. Our youngest wines are stored here in vats and barrels as they wait their turn to head downriver to Gaia.
